So ressurect on the box, try to loot the box, and then try to loot the box a second time. Resurrect from the Spirit Healer with the stat reduction, memorize the music and then leave and wait 15 minutes.

Flew in via the sewers, got to Sylvanas's chamber without too much difficulty - dismounting mainly by choice to see where the route was and then remounting - and was very surprised to aggro only a small amount of the chamber guards.
Which was just as well, 'cause I realised I didn't know where the roll was. For some reason I assumed it was going to be in an alcove in the outer wall so I went around and around in circles for a while until eventually decided that was no fun. Parked in one of the alcoves, killed the handful of guards that attacked until I could sit there without problem, and fired up Google on another machine.
Got very confused after initially searching on 'Undercity music roll' but eventually found what I needed. Still no aggro. Not sure how long I sat there but certainly long enough to boil a kettle and have tea and cake. Saw the chest, hopped over to grab it and aggro'd everything under the sun. Got the scroll first time with no problem, tried to make a run for it, didn't get far. Happy to rez at the graveyard and take the 10mins of sickness. Fun fact: if you're a hunter carrying the relevant artefact weapon even if not equipped then Sylvanas will bad-mouth you for carrying a Windrunner family heirloom.

The plague will kill you, as it did me, and for Alliance it is an annoyingly long run back that you might end up having to do more than once. To the northeast of the main gate is Zidormi , who can turn back time to make Tirisfal Glades and the Undercity the way they were before the battle, Not quite exactly the same, since the Undercity guards will all be so if you're Alliance you'll still have to deal with them somehow.
Just visit Zidormi and go to the pre-BFA version of Undercity it's still got Level guards, though , and just walk into the place like you own the joint.
The Scroll is in the Sylvanas Lockbock to the right-rear of where Sylvanas is standing; you can even see it safely without agro'ing by staying near the outer circle and just peering into the platform. Take it, and then run out of there and hearth.

Comment by Shadowswift The song dates back clear to the War of the Ancients and was written originally by the Night Elves. Durring the Troll Wars, the Quel'dorei sang the Lament, altering its lyrics. The song was likely altered again durring and after the fall of Quel'thalas. Likely, each version of the song used "Kaldorei", "Quel'dorei" and "Sin'dorei" respectively to fit each tribute, though the melody of the song is said to have remained the same over the millenia.
