Some spots after awhile will not let you set a trap, shoo the chicken nor can you click on it. So avoid, those spots and that Throne room place all together for setting traps. I caught a chicken in this area and then built the chicken coop there. Over by the rice is a bad spot and it became unusable for me. The other one gave me several chickens. But you can try them both if you like. There are two spot here also and sometime two chickens will appear.
Here is how and what you do to catch the chicken. That is, if you wish to keep catching these chickens for the food. You have to stand in front of it or move around it till it flys away.
